Each room has different architectural features but designer tricks can make small rooms appear larger. By allowing as much natural light to enter the room as possible and using artificial light freely will help to keep things bright creating a spacious look. Placing lamps will bounce the light off the ceiling and reflect it back into the room. Another way is the use of mirrors, if possible using a space on the wall from ceiling to the floor. Furniture made of glass reveal much floor space. To help keep the space open and free, furniture with longer legs is recommended.
