Hunt for bargains and sales. Look for stores that sells slightly used items. Flea market and yard sales are also the best place to hunt for design pieces. Choose pieces that would fit in your room inspiration or design theme.

Improvise and explore your creative side. Be open for possibilities and uniqueness. You can repaint our old table to give it a new look, or embellish your old lamps, cabinets and other trinkets. Look around your house and find pieces that can still be recycled.

There are ways to keep your bedroom you heaven. Do not add office equipments to your bedroom. Your bedroom is for relaxation purposes and not for work.
Choose the right bed that fits in the room. Though sheets are expensive, splurge on quality cotton sheets to add comfort. Choose the color that coincides with your bedroom design.
Choose dark window curtains if you are a night person, so you can sleep during the day. Choose cool color palettes such as blue and light green. Make your bedroom a retreat, and an enjoyable space to be in.

Placing furniture at different heights influences our perceptions of space. Keeping the furniture at the same height level will make the room look more spacious. We could put a few breakers to avoid monotony. A small apartment or home would seem larger if the same palette of colors is used in different variations. A long corridor may be designed to look shorter by painting the far side using a deep, warm color. If you have a high ceiling, painting it in a darker color than walls would make it seem lower even if there is minimal variation of colors between the wall and ceiling.
